Coach House

Early tamworth industries

The Coach House was built by Society volunteers using timbers gathered from Moore Creek. It opened in 1979.

The building houses equipment relating to the era when the horse was the main form of transport.  A sulky and a phaeton are two types of carriages on display, as well as shearing tools, early refrigeration items and equipment used in the milk, egg and chicken industries.
